Crazy Prototype 18' Frankenwoofer - Gets LOUD throws sparks!

No, it is NOT the new SMD sub...i don't know what it is. It is a prototype someone threw together. It was pretty damn loud on the low notes! The higher notes weren't as good but it is still a cool woofer, especially since it throws sparks! that is always fun!

That's a nice looking car I think. Also bloody impressed they squeezed two 18s in it!!! Love to know how much jiggling it took as that's structural metal along the top of the box I think. Impressive.

It's actually 2 separate speakers placed magnet to magnet. By providing power to the VC and spider on the magnet inside the car (in reverse polarity & being that close to the working sub magnet) you can create a stronger electro magnetic field for the working sub than the EMF that the working subs magnet can create alone. Basically allowing a single magnet sub EMFs that a sub with a double or triple magnet stack has by its self.

I've studied it inside and out the best I could and I cant see how they could be connected. The obstacles would be having the VC slot carried all the way through the magnet which would mean no VC slid pole. And lets say the pole and VC hole did go all the way through, getting 2 poles lined up together and keeping the 1/32 inch clearance for the VC to float over between magnets would be murder. So taking what I know about engineering I have to go with the EMF field.

The song is called bass ballin. And rolling up the windows was just to get better air flow. I've seen multiple vids on this sub. He's not trying to hide anything. I like those rims too
