In this course, you will learn how to teach your horse the Spanish walk with a step by step tutorial from world-class trainers such as Philippe Karl, Saskia Gunzer and Alizée Froment.

French riding master, Philippe Karl, uses the Spanish walk in conjunction with trot transitions as a way to teach even the most ordinary horse to passage. Alizée Froment then shows the Spanish walk and Spanish trot at liberty. Trust and respect are the foundation of all her work, and, she says, it must go both ways.

German long reining expert Saskia Gunzer also teaches the Spanish walk from the ground first. Initially, she addresses each leg separately. You will then dive into the exact timing of half halts and aids in order to catch the exact moment the foot is about to leave the ground.
