Mudras are the hand gestures and finger postures used in representations of the Buddha.
Movements of the hands are used to represent motions or movements of the mind and are central to expressing the meaning of the Dharma
These well-defined gestures have a fixed meaning throughout all styles and periods of Buddha images.
They are also used by monks in their spiritual exercises of ritual meditation and concentration.

Recently Historian Rajendra Prasad Singh claimed that Buddhism is older than Vedic religion too, and also provided evidence regarding same, even though it's well accepted that Buddhism is older than brahminvaad, but is it older than Vedic religion too, it would be great to have a video on this topic

Buddhism is as old as universe. Before the universe was created, buddhism existed. Saint who discovered the truth of universe is considered as Buddha or enlightened being, dharma is defined as phenomenon, which means than phenomenon of universe. While some people are still obsessed with the imaginary concept of newness or oldness. The purpose of Buddhism is to remove any obsession and return yourself to the universe, as you are part of universe, universe is part of you.

Buddhisme come from Hinduism. An adoption born of a chism incorporating some new elements, as Purushârthra wich are a bit different .You have to remember that the first enseignement Gautama the Buddha gives, is how to Liberate yourself of the karmic cycle of the existences . He never said, He is God. The scholars Monks made the religion .(why? Guess!) Buddism has no God, but the believers see Him as a God. Knowledge is fruitful if you add practice.☸ Namaste 🙏
