AIAIAI TMA-2 - Modular Headphones that Don't Suck!

The Aiaiai Tma-2’s are some of the most unique headphones that I’ve ever tried. Especially after starting this youtube channel, sometimes it gets hard to get excited about certain products that just don’t seem to bring anything new to the table. So when Aiaiai reached out to me to make this video, I jumped at it!

And, with the TMA-2’s I’m glad to say that isn’t an issue, theyre the first pair of modular headphones that I’ve tried that dont suck!

Nice headphones. The sustainability is important to me. I was considering staying with Sennheiser for my next upgrade but might make the move to AIAIAI

I've been using these for around 5 years at this point. I've had 2 different pairs (lost the first one in a taxi) and I can't say anything but good things about these.

I managed to chop off a cable on one pair after being careless with my bike and getting the cord lodged into my disk brake, so I got a replacement and they were good as new. On any other headphone that would have been a 250€ slipup instead of a 5€ one. My next move with these will probably be to get the Bluetooth headband so I can make them wireless. I really love how that's an option for a headphone that didn't have Bluetooth support when I first got them. Hope to see more companies follow suit so we can make our dream headphones from a variety of brands.

Any idea why my TMA-2 move wireless is so quite while connected to Bluetooth, I received my pair they replaced my speakers but again quite with Bluetooth connected 🥺

What are your thoughts on the internal microphone? And what is the usb-c port for?

I’d like to know how the sound compares to the Sony XM3/4 and AirPod Max. Bearing in mind these don’t have ANC.
