i 100% agree. i assumed i could stat reset so i pumped weight hp for early game lvls.

i see now i was on right track.

5 points in attack can go a long way especially in the late game.

Remember the attack stat is a *Multiplier.* Couple this with legendary weapon schematics and Pal abilities like Vanguard, and youll be blasting through bosses.

With the use of the grappling hook and pals thats expand the weight capacity, weight isnt as important as you think.

I put the majority of points into HP and attack, but gave 10 points to my stamina making it 200. I say this is the more optimized route but depending on your playstyle HP and attack point distribution can be adjusted accordingly.

Doesnt defence only raise through armor, not leveling 0.o 😅

One critisism is that work speed is probably the most worthless stat endgame. Points in work speed are pretty much wasted points. You will quickly get pals that will HARD outperform your work speed at everything. I literally never sit there manually working anything anymore

I pump up mostly stamina and some weight because it provides better mobility, climb time and glider-time/distance since the game uses a tLoZ:BotW movement-model. This isn't Ark where you can tame and ride a Pteranodon at level 38 which is something you do within an hour of new-character spawning if you know what you're doing. I like exploring the map and ground-mounts are a pain to use due to the map's verticality (at least so far, as I'm still in the early-game and I'm being cautious).

4:00 Top Right Corner of your screen says: All of your Pals are depressed. Please make them happy again. They deserve more...

If you mess up, there's a potion to reset your stats AND CATCH POWER!!! Make sure to use the statue to reset your leafmuks.

You can reset your stats* though only at level 43, and it is currently bugged to reset your capture rate status at the statue without giving anything back, so hopefully once fixed it will be no issue where you put stats.

From what I have seen, health doesn't need much stats in it at all, can put a few but not many, if you getting hit it costs a lot more then health as your durability goes down, and with no armour it doesn't matter how much health you have you die.

Hence Stam is very very good as it means more dodges, longer gliding, longer mining (though with refined tools, you mine so fast a coal mine goes in like what 5-6 hits?) much longer sprinting

And carry weight is extremely important.

Next I put into attack, as I like to actually play and keep up with the damage my Pal's can do :)

Do not put into work speed, though 2 is helpeful really early on as it doubles your speed, you need to rely on Pal's to craft.

Attack might be a priority to focus on if they ever introduce PvP servers and you plan to play on them.

i thought the same thing too, I don't need to bother with attk and def coz my pal gonna do it for me while more hp help me to tank few damage if the enemies somehow agro at me

i never though of using points on work speed, since is the pals that are at base working on the stuff not me, and when i got the egypt looking dog with handywork 4 i found it even more usless, so im settle to stamina points and hp, but after 2600 hp and 250 sp I'm thinking of weight

Attack vs Weight/Stamina. Attack scales with the Vanguard Pal passive skill. So if you have a whole squad with the Vanguard skill it's applicable to whatever you boost in your stats. I've actually found weight to be more useless in endgame. Since, you're Pals and your base are doing all the heavy lifting. But it's really just a matter of preference. They do limit you to 3 bases. So I can understand people wanting that extra points in weight to pick up sulfur and quartz.

I only put like 4 points into attack. I feel like I messed up my build in endgame.

10 carrying capacity, the rest is atk.
With this build, you can blitz through dungueons and do alpha runs super fast.

Lol, I'm level 31 and only leveled stamina, carry weight, and attack. But now knowing attack doesn't affect my ranged attack i feel that i wasted those stats...

I think you should reconsider recommending folks try official servers. The hackers are out of control. I tried several official servers, and it doesn't matter which you play on, a hacker will come in grief kill you over and over, destroy your base, and crash the server. Until they get that under control, it will only turn players off to lose a base you put several hours into because some sad, pathetic, buthurt Pokémon fanboy learned how to hack to severs so they can ruin other people's enjoyment of the game.

I brought up my attack to 110 and I found myself feeling like it was wasted but I did that in the early levels so I wonder if it helps late game. If so then I can't tell because I only seen the results from early levels.
Besides that, got stamina and work speed to 200 and feel that's good enough.
Got weight to 1k and feel like it's a decent number. Could be better but a solid number to get to by itself.
My HP and weight will be my most invested stat, I believe.

im add so much point to hp for tanking big damage from boss because boss is always attacking us and we can't always dodge or healing, my hp now 6k+, i add lilbit stamina for dodge if my hp going low, and lilbit weight to carry stuff, for attack im increase with attack pendant, work speed is default, i dont need that stats because my pal do better

As of the current state of the game, I dont do Work Speed, because I can catch Zoe and Grizzbolt with the bug of attacking an NPC, bringing them into the cave with me, then having them attack the boss then I can cap it. Free lv 3 Handicraft + bosses are regular mons but with MASSIVE HP (they dont breed normally though, they only give Chikipi with ANYTHING) So thats my dedicated crafter early on until Penking / Bushi for an Anubis early. I find my comfy carry weight to be about 1k + end game, more closer to 1500. Attack is preference, I get mostly used to making Pals do all my murdering and Im support fire. Health is a big boost though, Stamina I feel alright with 200. Also, you cant raise Defense with stat points iirc as of right now anyway
