I’m proud of how little I buy and how much of my own money I keep. My wallet was given to me years ago. My watch I got for being at the same job in charge of research projects for more than 30 years. My knife I bought cheap from Cold Steel in Ventura, CA many years ago. It hasn’t been made for years and people pay through the nose for one when one becomes available. My daily carry fountain pen I bought new-in-box with the original sales receipt from 1981 (a Montblanc 149) from an old friend who was the original owner. I paid less than 1/10th the current price. My headphones are the original ones that came with my IPhone 7. My key ring is a 30 year old ASP Key Defender that started out black but is now worn to a polished silver. I’m very pleased with all this stuff because it is now essentially one-of-a-kind and so cheap it’s valuable. ;-)

I had the magnetic quick release on my keys and got annoyed about it sticking to everything...I never even thought about using titanium to prevent that! Might have to give that another go now..

Almost every chronograph using the Seagull st19 movement is 38-39mm but the Seagull 1963 does come in a 42mm variant. And none of the st19 powered watches have a date complication. That movement just doesn’t have that complication built into it.
