핑크는 미국출신의 싱어송라이터로 정식 표기는 Pink가 아닌 P!nk이며 앨범 커버에도 P!nk로 표시되어 있습니다.
핑크는 시원시원한 음색에 로커를 연상케 하는 거친 창법이 인상적인 가수이며 굉장히 안정적인 라이브 실력을 가지고 있어 미국에서도 실력파 가수로 분류되고 있습니다.
라이브 공연 때는 곡예 수준의 퍼포먼스를 늘 선보이는 것으로도 유명한데요 데뷔 이전에 체조선수 지망생이었고, 그로 인해 다양한 훈련으로 다져진 유연성과 체력이 있었기에 가능한 걸로 보입니다^^

14살 때부터 필라델피아의 한 클럽에서 처음으로 공연을 시작했으며 이 당시 핑크라는 예명으로 활동했었는데, 이 예명이 현재까지 이어지게 되었습니다.
2001년에는 크리스티나 아길레라, Mya, 릴 킴과 함께 물랑루주의 OST인 Lady Marmalade를 불렀는데 이 노래를 통해 처음으로 빌보드 핫 100 1위에 올랐습니다. 또한 생애 첫 그래미상 수상을 하기에 이릅니다. 같은 해 11월 두 번째 앨범 Missundaztood가 발매되었으데 세계적으로 1,300만 장 이상을 팔아치우며 대성공 거둡니다.

이곡"Who Knew"은 2006년에 발매한 싱글로 빌보드 싱글 10위에 진입에 성공하였으며 이곡이 수록된 네 번째 정규 앨범 I'm Not Dead의 판매량은 전작 Try This에 비해 2배 이상 증가한 700만 장이 팔렸으며 특히 호주에서 인기가 많아 62주 동안 10위권에 머무는 신기록을 세우게 되는데 이때부터 호주 여신으로 통한다고 합니다.

드럼은 특이하게도 필인이 안 나오며 8비트 리듬과 하이햇 오픈으로만 구성된 곡입니다.
비교적 빠른 템포와 은근히 까다로운 킥패턴으로 인해 별 2개를 주었습니다^^
