How to Get Stretched Resolution in Fortnite Chapter 5! (NVIDIA + AMD)

I have problem that if i want to go up on fort its only working on windowed full screen but if im Put it on fullscreen its back to 1920x1080 and not even streched (sry for Bad english)

mine doesnt apply to the game and only to my windows and i have all the settings turned on

THANK YOU for saying that you have to be in full screen first! should you also not change any in game settings while that file is on read only? cause I think I tried to do that and my whole system crashed... if that's true, it's probably a good thing to note.
also, using the second method in game, it doesn't let me click on the right side of the screen where the pixels would be when not stretched. for example, my screen is 2560x1440. if i change game settings to 2200x1440, there's a 360x1440 pixel area that i can't interact with in game

I did this process like 9 times over and over, file is on read-only, I don't have nvidia either. I load up fortnite and I just have normal res, the file is set to 1440 by 1080 tho

Whenever i go into fortnite after changing it in the nvidia control panel. The resolution switches back to 1920x1080. Any suggestions?

I did the first method. It worked for everything on my pc except fortnite

Could I just change the Fortnite config res to 1720x1080, then the pc display settings res to 1720x1080 for ex, instead of using nvidia. Would that work?
