Ich habe extrem für GW geschwärmt, er war so toll, nach einem Konzert habe ich es gewagt und ihn um ein Autogramm gebeten. Er musste sich einen Stift leihen und sagte, während er schrieb: "Das werfen Sie dann zu Hause wohl in den Abfalleimer."

deze dirigent is volgens mij
een van de beste wat bruckner betreft
deze uitvoering is weergaloos
mooi en monumentaal
het orkest en dirigent blinken uit in chemie in communicatie

extremely delicate and nuanced balance between brass members. all the players are all too alert to the direction of the maestro Wand. a second to none performance.

I'll admit it, I heard of Gunther Wand as being one of loads of different classical music compositions that the main wrong side enjoyed before and during WW2. It sounds amazing though! :/
