Hi Everyone and Welcome Back To My Bucolic Life Channel. Meet my new sewing tutorial.

Welcome to my journey loving, then not, then loving again the crinkle rayon I chose to make this great dress. I love the finished dress. SO SWOOSHY! It involved a strategy of stabilizing seam allowances in the bodice pieces, an invisible zipper placement with waist matching point, rows of pleated type tucks, a lot of gathering with my super thread and a rolled hem with a rolled hem foot. I hope you like it too!

Love the beautiful red dress! That twirly skirt ❤️ would appeal and be flattering to most any age female, I’d think. Very tricky fabric to sew, but your taming methods really worked. Great suggestion to mist the fabric at various points to get it to behave. Adding the belt seems like it might make the dress look a little bit more formal if that was needed for a specific occasion. Thanks for sharing your project.
