It is very important to have money saved up for health issues. I was a 100% debt free in January. Then got sick a month later. That just lead me down a rabbit holes. I am going on day 4 of recovery from thyroid surgery. I will tell you this is no fun at all! And now I am looking at having close to $9, 000 in medical debt. The reason its so high is because I just hit my max out of pocket 2 weeks before it started over. So I had my surgery on the new year and now have my max out of pocket hit again. I guess I can look at it this way. Now for the rest of the year till the last day of June 2025. Everything will be covered. Just sucks having this debt in my life again!
