An absolute treat to see another cistercian chant. These are in my opinion the finest and most beautiful of all chants.

My first knowledge of Cistercians was trough this channel. I liked the chant, so I wanted to know something about the order. When I read about St Bernard of Clairvaux I immediately fell in love with that Saint. He had so noble soul and his sermons are just beautiful. The chant is perfectly fitting his character and legacy.

Propter nimiam caritatem suam
qua dilexit nos Deus Pater
Filium suum misit in similitudinem
carnis peccati ut omnes salvaret. Ecce jam venit plenitudo temporis in quo misit Deus Filium suum in terris natum de Virgine, factum sub lege, in similitudinem
carnis peccati ut omnes salvaret.

I'd love to serve one Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at one of the Cistercian monasteries in ruins.
Candles on the altar at dawn with a valid traditional priest or bishop and his Missale Romanum.
