Hi and thanks for these videos! Helped me get started with AMPL.

I think your very final comment about "constraint" being equal to 2 is not correct. Since the objective is increasing in both arguments the constraint 2x1 + x2 <= 3 must be equal to 3 at the optimum. If it were not, I could just increase x2 and increase the objective.

My guess is that 2 is equal to the number of the constraints that bind (since x1 is equal to 0, and the constraint 2x1 + x2 is equal to 3).

Do you have any thoughts?
