Both look very good. As you say normally there are never enough ports. If I had to choose and had the money then the 16 port version.

Something to note is you MUST make sure to plug into a usb 3 port on your laptop or PC. You can use a usb 2 in a pinch but certain things like hard drives plugged into these might not work.

What is the use of that many ports if you are still restricted to 1 USB port speed?

You cannot put 90 Watts into a USB port!!

Another great video dave that looks super useful never seen one with a 16 port though before🙈 i have to ask though is the 10 port one compatible with the ps5 and series x if you know ? like can i put the 10 port version in back of the series x lets say and then have the ps5 peripherals going into that whilst its in back of the xbox if that makes sense? because as you know dave the series x doesnt have many usb ports too so that would be super handy to have for the gear that i have

GEEKANOIDS:OK, I own an enormous amount of external hard drives!! 10 EXTERNAL HDS, TO BE EXACT!! NINE of them are powered solely by a USB cable plugged into computer's USB 3.0 port!!
That 650 GB external hard drive (as mentioned below) actually does contain an AC POWERSUPPLY ADAPTER!! SO, that particular external hard drive cannot be operated solely by voltage generated from two ends of a USB cable!!

I got 1 of a 650 GB external hd, 1 got 1 of a 1TB external hd, I got 4 of 2TB external hd, and I got 4 of 4TB external hd!! I would love to safely connect, operate, power up ALL 10 of these external hard drives at the same time!!

How much amperage be utilized by 10 external hard drives running simultaneously??!! Can that SABRENT 16-PORT USB 3.0 SWITCHES device REALLY safely handle that enormous amount of electricity that can be unleashed by 10 external hard drives SIMULTANEOUSLY sending voltage thu 10 individual USB 3.0 slots contained atop SABRENT 16 PORTS USB 3.0 HUB SWITCHBOX??!!

Can computer motherboard possibly become electrically overloaded, and subsequently be short-circuited, when too many devices (such as watts-intensive and amperage-hungry external hard drives) send too many electrical signals toward just one slot on motherboard??!!

GEEKANOIDS:SO, do you feel that I can safely PLUG IN all 10 of my externals hard drives into that SABRENT 16 PORTS USB 3.0 HUB BOX so that NONE of my external hard drives gonna be damaged...even though they all have been turned on SIMULTANEOUSLY??!! And even though they all be active at same time??!! Will 10 *COMBINED* "powered on" external hard drives really burn up more than 90 WATTS allowed by SABRENT surge protector circuitry??!!
