just a reminder: Nightmare Before Christmas isn't really a Tim Burton film. the script he didn't write (but Caroline Thompson did) was based on a story he did. the art direction he wasn't a part of (but Deane Taylor was) is based on his designs and illustrations. the direction he didn't do (but Henry Selick did) went with a claymation production that he wasn't even on set for (production was in San Fransisco, but he was on set in Tampa Bay for the production of Edward Scissorhands)
