Josh: Not as far as I'm aware, the specification doesn't mention it at all. Knowing about them might be useful but I wouldn't focus on learning it too much, I think they just want you to know that where things in code are defined determines where they can be used and apply this to an example they give, however that is just my interpretation.

The revision textbook that I have talks about Procedure Scope, Module Scope, Project Scope and Global Scope. Do we need to know these for the AQA exam??? Same question asked below but no response.
