New affordable housing project launched in Winnipeg

A new affordable housing project launched today in the Centennial neighbourhood. The three-storey building will provide low income housing, and support for those dealing with mental health and addiction issues.

housing isnt the issue. if people could actually buy a small piece of land for like 20 grand and build their own house on it without a million layers of beuraucracy it'd be fine. you can build a small 2 bedroom house for 40 grand and another 20 for water and electrical hookups. septic and sewage would run you about 15 so realistically you could help people have homes for $95k all in if you wanted.
