Personally, I think Singapore succeeded because of 3 reasons... 1) Geographical location. 2) Low corruption 3)Business friendly. Extra reason... Our neighbours are the exact opposite for Reason 2 and 3. Can that be considered as exceptional governance? Besides, we are small, it's much easier to keep a tiny room clean than a huge mansion. Something to think about.
