There is no doubt that there are some great hymns written today BUT the old hymns of yesterday have so much doctrinal truths in them .Churches PLEASE do not stop singing these old hymns that have been written to honour our Saviour & Lord above everything thing else . As a combat medic in the Vietnam war and then an unbeliever (even after being brought up all of my life in the Church ) after being on the drug Valium for nine years and a broken marriage when my first born only lived for 9 hours my Saviour & Lord Jesus came to me me while weeding my garden convicting me of sin & judgement and through His mighty power of reconciliation by HisHoly Spirit saved me at 5 o’clock on the 5th of March 1982 .Praise God .Amen

I'm sitting in a hospital emergency room playing the hymns from my phone with a mask that says Jesus Saves. So far I have not been asked to turn it down. God is good and worthy of praise

I miss the old hyms ..they need to be brought back in churches. God did amazing things with those songs and they're never old school.

I'm 31 and I remember even as a kid I liked the hymns. The Holy Spirit gave power in these hymns.

I was 88 years old yesterday, 10/3 born in 1934 and
have been listening for the past almost 3 hours now to this wonderful Playlist "Favorite Old Hymns /Hymns Beautiful ... I have been so happy to hear each one so far with 5 more hours to complete all 50 of the hymns!! They have been ones I have been singing starting at 3 years old and throughout my entire life ... first with my mother in our home and then in Sunday School and in church adding the old hymns along the way through these many years and of course sharing with my own 3 daughters when they were small and then with my 8 grand children when they were youngsters 6 of whom lived hundreds of miles away but made annual visits over the holidays each year and Grandpa and I traveled to several
states each year to be with each family. So here I am with my wonderful memories
and so thankful that they all keep in touch via phone calls and visits whenever possible. I sing to myself every day the old old hymns and play my collection of CD's as well always looking on my laptop, much of the time through U-TUBE and of course Pandora where with each I am happy to come across lots of of opportunities to find the OLD HYMNS. BUT I just wanted to thank you for sharing this amazing collection of 50 "Hymns Beautiful" on here. Now I want to get back to listening for the next several hours to your Playlist over U-TUBE!!

I am playing these hymns in a continuous loop on my laptop for my beautiful 85-year-old mom next to her hospital bed as she passes on to her Lord Jesus in heaven. She can no longer respond, but she loves these hymns, and I know she is singing along with them in her heart.
