Looks like a super untamed versatile second board to complement a piano/organ board (SV2, YC73 or Electro) live. Looks like you can get tons of interesting, different pads and leads out of it. I don’t care about the “philosophical” discussion of something sounds analog or digital. It has to sound amazing and surprising. The Wavestation for example sounds (and is) digital, but it’s synthesis is still capable to produce incredible pads and soundscapes… let’s see if Gaia 2 can be a good alternative

The original Gaia was a rompler with its own qualities and quirks, but it got the job done. This is a completely other synth. But being ZEN-based, every owner of a new Roland synth doesn't need this. Every new Roland synth is based on the same ZEN-technology.

Looks like Spire VST by Reveal Sound (Plugins VST, AU). It is a pitty that it does not have drums.

while the new GAIA 2 has a sound that is too much like native plugins.

Wow.. Roland finally used normal pitch & mod wheels instead of that goofy joystick. I don't even see the notorious d-beam!

You can only use arpeggios and sequences if you can use clicktracks when performing live. If the synth doesn't provide that, those sections are worthless.
