I am a Mexican born and raised in Mexico city, there is so much to see, you can go to Valle de Bravo which about two hours from Mexico City and it is pretty cool it reminds me on New Jersey lots of trees and they have a nice lake and the food is amazing, you can also go to Tolantongo also about two hours from Mexico city you can camp there or you can book a room for 700 pesos about 40 dollars per night this place is amazing if you want to be close to nature. sorry for the long comment.

Awesome video. I think it's cool that you're showing and teaching us about my homeland but I should add that although it is great of you to encourage tourist to explore the city you should also encourage them to do so with prior preparation and prudence so they don't walk into a bad side of town. Basic logic but it could be easily forgotten with the excitement of traveling.

I am traveling to Mexico soon and wondering if you or anyone has any advice. My digestion is currently weak due to a health issue and I am a bit concerned of eating food from Mexico as it may be easier for bacteria and parasites to travel passed my stomachs normal barriers. I have to be super careful. Would you recommend only eating cooked food at restaurants? Not at all and only eating prepared meals at home (perhaps from Costco) that I can wash and sterilize myself? Also, what do you wash produce with to avoid getting bacteria and parasites? Please help.
