Thanks Brother, made replacing it fairly easy... little tricky with double wrench but worked and i ended up putting spring clamp on crank pulley to hold belt in place while looping it up, really appreciate no drama, no meaningless distracting music, focused presentation, thanks again, car runs beautifully.

Video was a life saver! Thank you for posting. Found while I was working that a 1/2in breaker bar will fit snugly into the open side of the 14mm wrench, it was very easy to get the leverage on the tensioner that way

Thanks for the great video. One thing I noticed is that the belt size listed is 7PK1742. I believe the correct size is 7PK1755 which would be just slightly longer and maybe just a bit easier to install. Another thought I had was that the belt and power steering fluid could be changed at the same intervals. When flushing the power steering fluid, the system is drained, meaning you could then just remove the reservoir altogether. Get two jobs done at once and make the belt job a little easier.

Great tutorial. Clear explanations, logical progression with minimal fluff. Video shots were clear and concise without the excessive "shakey-cam" seen in many videos.

Thank you for you patience in explanning all the details in how to do this job, for the diagram and the part number for the belt. I really appreciatte your effort in educating those like me that don't have any mechanical knowledge or experience. Keep the good work and my most sincere blessings yo you and your family. Have a Blessed day...😊🙏🙌

Another tip if you're still struggling to get it on fully is to rotate the crankshaft by hand with a 17mm socket. You have to get it on most of the way first. And rotate the crankshaft clockwise. Don't rotate it counter-clockwise as it could mess with the timing chain. In my situation I was finishing up a timing chain job and struggled with getting the drive belt fully on. I managed to get it most of the way, but just needed more leverage. Instead I rotated the crankshaft to get it all the way on and then double checked that the belt was fully seated correctly and running in the correct path.

Thank you so much for this video! We just used it to replace the belt and your technique of extending the wrench using a secondary wrench for the tensioner was extremely helpful. Much appreciated!

Maybe an odd comment, but lived in the South for 10 years and the bird sounds in the background are giving me a little bit of nostalgia and seeing all the greenery 💚

Thank you! Great dumbed down video without making me feel stupid! My son’s belt was in shreds and this video was perfect! Appreciate it!

Good video, personally I found that putting the belt on the power steering pulley first then slipping it under the smooth surface of the tensioner worked best for me.

Thanks for the video, like others it saved me some money and time figuring this out for myself. Bearings on the AC went out and decided to bypass it for while in order to get back on the road quicker. I ended up using a Gates KO70553 which is 55-7/8" long. Again, thanks for taking the time to make this video and posting it

Way easier walking the belt over the power steering pully vs any others, first being its exposed and on top and second you can turn it by hand and it will walk on. I tried the alt pulley and was just frustrating and knuckle scraping. Everything else was very helpful. Cheers!!

Thanks for this vid. Got it done in 2 hours and strangely enough the biggest pain was the plastic underneath

Good video. Perhaps you might have mentioned checking the idler pulley while the belt is of. Just a thought.

Thank you. I struggled getting the belt into position while also working the tensioner- there wasn't enough space- but it would have been easier with a helper. I ended up doing the two box wrench method from the bottom- with the car jacked up- and it was much easier to lift the belt over the bottom pulleys. I then worked the tensioner from the top because the belt wasn't fully on the PS pump pulley.
