Installing ArcSight McAfee ePO Database SmartConnector

Показать описание
If you have found what I do interesting and if you would like me to continue you can check the link below 😊
Hello,
In this video I'm installing one ArcSight- McAfee ePO Database SmartConnector.
What we want from our connector is to collect security data from the ePO server database and forward it towards our active destination ArcSight ESM where as you know we can monitor, analyze, investigate and correlate these events.
I have configured two VMWare Lab Machines. Both machines talk to each other. In the network configuration between them I used Bridged Network, so in this way I can see both my physical machines and the virtual ones in my network.
1. Linux RHEL 6.8 - on this one I've installed the ArcSight ESM 6.11
2. Windows Server 2012 Data Center- here I deployed the McAfee ePO 5.9
¬Just a reminder have in mind that the latest version of
ArcSight SmartConnector is not supporting the ePO 5.10 so, yeah...
I had to redeploy from the scratch the McAfee ePO 5.9 (which turned out to be quite challenging, if you want try it yourself)
If you want to check what I've passed through I'm pasting some articles:
I hope this video is going to be helpful for anyone out there.
