Francesco Datini, Prato e cultura

La sua importanza è legata al ricco archivio di lettere e registri da lui lasciato, lo stesso fu murato in un pozzo di scale in disuso e ritrovato solo nel XIX secolo. E’ a Francesco Datini che viene attribuita l’invenzione del sistema di aziende.
Presso la Casa Museo di Francesco Datini si è svolto, “Prato fra le righe”, un appuntamento organizzato dall’associazione “Viaggi e scoperte” in cui sono stati presentati 3 libri di autori emergenti pratesi.
