I think it is very beneficial. Previously by providing extra attempts in old courses ICAI is creating two batches of Professionals - One who is updated in latest regulations like Ind AS, Elective Subjects Like GFRS, International Taxation etc. and other batch which is not updated. Furthermore this leads to duplication of Study Material, Examination Papers etc. It's a wasteful exercise. ICAI is doing the right thing.

Because under new scheme there is paper in group 2 multidisciplinary case study in which all other subjects questions will be asked. It's leads to force student to give both group in same attempt

Hello Sir, old course walo k lye old scheme hi beneficial h.syllabus bi to change ho jayega New m to.8 se 6 subjects se koi benefit ni h.ca final m group 2 m bi ek new subject add h

Those who hv shifted from old course to new again have to shift to new in case not passed. Nothing less than mental torture.

Sir this is shocking for lakhs of old course students.Only a couple of terms we are in new course and taking tutions and planning accordingly.The concept of less papers is not correct.We have to study even extra papers in self paced modules.
A student already registered and doing articleship is taking tutions in all papers.Suddenly he has to convert even before due term.What is this not even a prior announcement not provided?
One who has cleared Gr1 in old course will have to study all Gr1 papers again for new Paper 6 which is multi disciplinary.Is it feasible? Why only for CCMs benefit as to take only 1 exam they are harassing lakhs of students.One option and cut off date of at least 3 exams should be given.It should be brought to the notice.Regards
