The wrong done to us is acknowledged. Yet what most of us may not realize, or maybe have forgotten, is that we are not so faultless ourselves. We have hurt and wronged people too. That said, it would be impossible to take revenge from pure motives. Since only the Almighty Himself is truly pure, only He can do so from pure motives.

What does the sentence "Truth matters, life matters more" mean? Because I find it really hard to agree with. If there's ultimate truth but subjective life, what is life compared to the divine truth?

It sounds contradictory, but being meek can make this a very difficult teaching to follow. People walk all over you when you're patient and easy-going. It can be hard in the heat of the moment not to settle the score, especially when you feel entitled to do so.

It seems the Lord doesn't understand how much they hurt my family and how and why. The Lord wasn't hurt, we were. I understand the concept but these people don't believe in God, so how can what he does matter to them, I mean really matter?
