Taiwan is easily one of the most interesting places ever from a historical perspective

This made most us realise, that depite Taiwan doesn't seem in a good position being recognised by only 15 nations, Taiwan in its current state is one of the best endings it could have ever asked for, somehow still surviving and having one of the strongest economies in asia, under a liberal and democratic regime

Controversial opinion alert: I think Taiwan and China should stop claiming each other and go their separate ways as China and Taiwan, like Germany and Austria have.

At one point in 1897 the Japanese actually had a debate to sell Taiwan to France for 100 million yen due to some considering Taiwan not worth having because of the bad economy at the start of the rule and the resources spent to put down numerous uprisings, but it was eventually decided against. That could probably be an ending as well lol, though it is hard to imagine me speaking French.

I think Kai-shek would also annex Tibet and China would most likely be still an authoritarian state but Nationalist now. Should've made a continuation ending about that.

The Imperial Ending: After Chiang Kai-Shek fled towards Taiwan, the Former manchurian Emperor Puyi overthrew him, rebuilding Manchukou on Taiwan to eventually proclaim the Chinese Empire when the time was right
