Love your sweaters Leslie! Especially the Daily. I definitely have to make one. You pick such classic designs, so inspirational. Jan 😊

Great
I used to feel the exact same way about wearing knit socks. They were not what I was used to, they were weird and thick and I could feel all the stitches. Then I discovered magic loop and loved knitting them so so much that I just made a bunch and started really really wearing them. Now it’s all I wear. I know you hear people say that but it’s true! I just love the feel of hand knit socks now! They are definitely my favorite!

Merry Christmas! What a fun episode with you and your daughter and those sweaters, just beautiful and joyful. Thank you for the useful tips on self care if we become ill. And yes, I agree there needs to be more conversations about caring for ourselves and our family during this pandemic.

You and your daughter are so cute together. Tell Libby I said thanks for joining the podcast. I LOVE wedding cookies and I miss Publix so much. (We’ve moved to CA) So glad you, your husband, and son are all better. I can only imagine how scary that was to get those results. It was fun to see your son pop in for a quick hi too. Make your new year a great one my friend.

Thank you for sharing every advice and introduce your beautifull son and doughter. I am portuguese, ( the one that loves your bracelets, and etc....) and my brother also lives in Denver for lots of years. Lots of love from Lisbon, this time specially for your wise mother and Libby.

ALSO! Thanks for all the awesome tips on dealing with illnesses. Especially Covid! I’ve avoided it so far, but it’s probably just a matter of time! Ugh! Glad you’re ok.

I did the Daily Pullover after Jackie chatted with Paula, I was so inspired!!! I love ❤️ my pullover!!! I did it in linen quill (Trout Brown) a interesting grey (some brown tones). I’m hoping to do it again in cream! I love the black one you made! 👏so nice to meet your daughter! 🥰 hope you’re feeling better and you had a Merry Christmas 🎄 🤶

This was such an interesting episode. The Daily Pullover sweater has become a classic, and yours is beautiful in Kettle Black. I had watched Cady Jax's latest video yesterday, and Jackie and her mother Sally are going to be knitting that same sweater for Sally in Linen Quill "Blue Blue", which is a gorgeous color. I hope you will eventually return to your plan to knit a Half+Half Triangles Wrap in Kettle Black and Nutmeg, a beautiful combination. Your Dark Denim and Heirloom White wrap was the inspiration for me to knit that pattern for myself. Thank you for the Toast arm warmer pattern. I'm off to Joann today to pick out a Wool Ease color, and I also plan to knit them in Premier Everyday worsted from my stash. That is a very nice yarn if you haven't tried it. Happy New Year to you and your family. 🎆

I have been spending the New Year weekend knitting the Toast arm warmers from the free pattern Leslie made available to us. I'm using Wool Ease in the colors Cranberry and Blush Heather. I knitted a 2" ribbed cuff in Blush Heather and now am knitting the 7" body of the arm warmer in Cranberry. I'll knit a 2" ribbed cuff in Blush Heather at the other end, for a total of 11" in length.
It has been awhile since I last knitted a project using DPNs, so the start was a bit fiddly but now I've hit my stride and am enjoying Toast. My color choices are nostalgic because that combination reminds me of the pink & burgundy clothing craze at my high school in the 1960s. Thanks again for the pattern, Leslie.
