Never let anyone tell you that grown men aren't supposed to cry, because every time I watch this episode I literally cry my eyes out. And Testify To Love is one of my favorite songs. This is so heart-rending. I was 16 when this episode was on, and I never forgot it. Every time I saw it, I wanted Petey to get well. They don't make eternity-minded shows like this anymore 😔.

I know it's fiction, but it takes a lot of courage, a lot of faith for a mother to keep on singing with so much passion, knowing that her son has just passed on in front of her eyes. I remember a friend who's child passed on very early in life due to a serious illness. The whole family was very God-fearing. When everyone around her was crying or sad for her at the funeral. She proudly said, 'Why be sad? She's in the hands of The Lord, the best place to be!'
