With 120w power efficiency
And faster gddr6 memory
Its perfect for 1080p gaming at high-ultra settings
And 2k gaming at med-high settings
Go for 1660ti rather than used 1070
Not to mention it will have good driver support

I paired it with my computer system AMD FX8150. And I must say I'm totally blown away by the power of this card and the smooth gaming and the quality of its design. I have the E VGA super clock version of the GTX1060TI6.

I am upgrading from a gtx 970 windforce oc to this.. gigabyte is selling at the $280 price point with aftermarket coolers installed. waiting for it to come in the mail this week!

I love my GTX 1060 MSI 6GB Gaming X, for me this card in 1080p next 2years than i will swich to RTX.

The thing that makes me ponder about evga is the direction of there fins. This means that with a single fan about 40% of the heatsink fins has no access to airflow. If they turned the fins around to run along the car then one fan could pass air along all the fins, but across the card like they do it doesn't work.

Pretty happy with my Sapphire Vega 56. Bought new for €300 with Resident Evil 2, The Division 2 and Devil May Cry included. Undervolting from 1.2v to 0.96 was as simple as typing the number in. GPU power draw never went above 200w. My PSU fan doesn't even turn on while gaming

The 3 slot EVGA card CAN BE matched to a pretty good looking mATX motherboard inside a smaller enclosure! Especially if you have water cooling for the CPU and you need the extra room for the radiator and/or reservoir. I don't think EVGA's decision to build this card was wrong. It's an option you wouldn't have got otherwise. And it's not performing any worse for it.

Just dropped an MSI 1660ti Ventis XS 6 in a 2010 Mac Pro 5, 1 (cheese grater) and Holy Contributing to the Delinquency of Minors Batman THIS thing brought THAT thing back from the dead. This is a Windows 7/10 rig and I'm using it for Blender and Iray so I needed decent CUDA count. At some point I'll build another PC but until then I'm very happy with this card and the $$$$ I didn't blow for a first gen 20xx. Quiet and low power consumption but thing thing eats surface render calculations like a dingo on a baby.
