[Animated] Overly Red Cab | 1976 OTIS (mod. OTIS, 1998) @ Otus Luxury Hotel, Mitsubishiville (Hotel)

This elevator is really nice, but the cab is very red lol! It doesn’t really suit the hotel that well (I think the gold cab from the lobby elevators would’ve been better). That aside, these elevators have OTIS Concave buttons but Series 1 indicators/lanterns and chimes, which suggests that this is a late 90’s mod (and it is – modernised 1998). The right COP has an OTIS Series 1 indicator and the left COP has a generic indicator, which was bodged on sometime in the 2000’s (as the left COP used to have nothing in the empty space for some reason). The floor passing beeps are great! What do you think of this elevator?

A tiny error in the animation here. There are actually three carpark levels (CP1-CP3) between levels G and 1. The elevator looks like it is going at ultra-hyper speed when going from G to 1, because of the massive gap. It’s not as big an error as the last video (because these elevators don’t serve levels CP1-CP3 anyway), but it’s worth pointing out. ;)
