Yes we should bring Cameron in ASAP, not because he's brilliant, but because he's better than what we have and can be developed further into a better player to sell on, isn't that the whole idea of player trading. I still say getting rid of the deadwood etc is more important though, if we can get money in for the wasters then that gives us some to spend and reduces the wage bill. In the meantime it's all ifs, buts and maybes with nothing definite to build our hopes on

Perhaps an argument for trying to agree a pre-contract deal now is that it stops another Lennon Miller situation where all of the vultures get wind and move for him in the summer. I'd say 2 of my favourite signings from other Scottish clubs were Marvin Andrews and Nacho Novo. I guess Kevin Thomson and Steven Whittaker were also good.

With all due respect to Lyall cameron he's an average player but that's all he is, I don't get the hype surrounding him, if we get him for nothing then ok but I wouldn't be paying a fee for him, at 22 I suppose he could develop into a good player.

Tom Lawrence will not have his contract renewed so there will be a space for a younger attack minded midfielder next season . As an able rotatabe squad option Lyall Cameron ticks a lot of boxes and he has plenty of experience of SPL .

Matondo rumours gathering pace . Loan with an option to buy for 2m being touted to an unamed European club . The plot thickens . Sheffield and Sunderland along with Lecce and Torino have been linked even heard Shalke want him back .

The elephant in the room is that Rangers have still not acquired the services of a CH .
