I agree it’s more empowering to stand back & realise everything we feel is happening within us and it helps to focus on the good things, even if it’s just recognising in pain & discomfort it is life “experience” it’s better than getting caught up & suffering further thinking about the cards you have been dealt sometimes. In essence appreciating you have cards you have been dealt than no cards at all. It’s good to see it like riding waves surfing getting through… than getting swept under by a current you might be able to avoid if you can but can’t control, like a tornado.

However it is quite a thing to control with trauma caused by strong conditioning & little support or resources, especially when experiencing abuse again & again. For this it’s good to know your feelings are valid & you are perfectly human. It’s natural to hurt when people continuously are abusive & I find it helps to find people who validate your experiences & feelings. It’s very healing to open up & talk about things rather than suppress your feelings. Some feelings need to be felt, otherwise they can fester & lead to stress & illness. Wisest thing you can do is process them. However it’s true you can choose which emotions you want to drive you & react with that can help you in any relationship & especially keep the atmosphere more peaceful & head clearer if you are finding things challenging.

No disrespect, but the only way to oversimplify this more is to use a cookie cutter to cut up crayons to draw a picture, and stuff it in a pigeonhole. Human transference is inevitable. People have an impact on other people, sometimes without even realizing it at first. You can't control everything, sorry to burst your bubble.

There was a cashier trying to make me look stupid an asked "are you sure this is all you want" an i said yeah an next thing you im being questioned about how i spend my earned money an i asked the cashier a question an was like "what does 25 an too 10's make?" Just to doubld check if i got the right money an he said 45 an i said "well okay then here you go sir 60 dollors" he look at me funny cuss he wanted me to spend more money until i didnt have 15 dollars left 😂 an thats when my brother came an i said "this cashier wont let me purchest what i want lol" an he immediately started to do so cuss he knew he could get fired for tell custmers how to use there own money for god sakes 😂😂😂😂😂😂

My worker makes me feel like this, and a group keeping away having excuses to come back like my worker will say you have ways to go won’t be able to paint a portrait making me feel like I am not good enough she is the main one that says I never make to being an artist painting I have been painting with acrylic on canvas boards for 6 months already before that I used to paint with oils then had to stop for 5 years everything is all about to come back most things did most of my family say I’m talented and one of my friends said you’re quite an artist

I’m a straight male and I recently decided to shave my legs because most of my class have hairless legs and I look weird with it so I got insecure and shaved my legs and now my everyone laughs at me because of it and say “that only what women do” and it’s annoying I’m not gay or anything and yet they say that shit. Really annoying.
