As a graphic design student, I got a lot of things wrong. Hopefully, I can help you avoid the same mistakes I made.

Some questions you might have about the video:

What are Photoshop and Illustrator actions?
An action is a series of tasks that you record once and then can play back on other files. For example, let's say you want to copy an object, then paste it in front and flip it vertically. You can set up an action that does all those things with one keyboard shortcut.

What's a keyboard shortcut?
It's a letter or number on your keyboard, or a combination of letters, numbers, command, shift, etc that give you fast access to a tool or menu item in the program you're using. For example, on a Mac, in almost every program, holding down Command and C will copy whatever is selected. Command and V will paste it.
