I was having this issue with the YouTube app on my 12Pro. This was happening when I was out exercising, and wanting to listen to YT content. Super annoying for it to be stuck in "horizontal" mode, and not roating when using my iphone in portrait mode. I'll try these fixes out. And realized I now have a work around. To force YT app to stay in Portrait mode, I can now lock that in. That would fix my issue too. Thank you.
