Being robbed is a life long struggle and it should be punished with long prison sentences. I was robbed in Los Angeles in June of 1980 while taking my lunch break, they busted out my truck windows pistol whipped me and stole my wallet and guitar, I’ve suffered from ptsd since, it’s not a minor offense. 10 years for an illegal gun, 20 years for a violent felony using a gun, period 😢

America is rotting. No longer enough of a country to do basics like having secure borders and safe city streets. Why would anyone believe it’s even still a country? I feel nothing but disgust for this place.

Bring a Daley back . That was a mayor . National guard, police and all . He had them ready anytime.

I used to love Chicago and I lived downtown for more than a decade. But the increasing violence under Lori Lightfoot's "leadership" drove me out (I did not vote for her), and although I have mixed feelings and sometimes wish i were downtown again, in general I'm happy to be outside of the city and in a safe area. The violence is even worse now with Brandon Johnson as Mayor. I would have thought it impossible to go downhill from Lightfoot but that's exactly what the stupid voters did. Anyone who wants to blame police need to understand it's the Mayor who controls the police.

What a horrible way to treat our guests; the ones who bring money into the city, the ones that bring money into the city that helps feed some of of the residents and provide jobs for those who are not thieves.

Why isnt the media asking Brandon Johnson about this violence, he should be able to walk out his hous without being questioned about this violence.

But how can that happen??! That campus is a gun free zone, isn't it? Don't those larcenist young men understand that? Maybe putting up more signs would help inform them. Or maybe if they added "for real" after the main "Gun Free Zone" part of the current signs, then those child criminals would take the signs more seriously. I've got it. Add some signs that say "In the name of public safety this center of greater...ahum... learning... will buy your guns." I think I heard a reporter say one time that that works.

How is that criminal justice reform working.?? Juvenile justice reform? You voted for this mess and chaos. You listened to the criminal justice reform activists. Weakness breeds contempt. Remember that when you vote next time.
