I really appreciated the extra effort put into the video. Made me laugh at a few times, while learning!

This happen about 25 years ago but it never gets old to me. I was at college and we had this class about electronical technology, which was all about circuits, diodes, resistences, capacitors, you name it. There were a few hours of theory a week and two hours of practice. So, we were in the lab about to practice with capacitors, the electrolite kind as in the video, and when the teacher started talking it went like this:
Teacher - Remember to correctly polarize your capacitors because otherwise...
Somewhere in the lab: BBBAAANNNGGG!!!
Teacher - ...THAT happens.

4:07 The most accurate demonstration of how a capacitor works, that I've seen in my entire life :D boop!

Aah, polarized electrolytic capacitor. Mehdi's favourite passive component, being one of the most explosive of them all.

I have a master's degree in electrical engineering, and I still enjoy watching electroBOOM. I've been watching him since my first semester of studying electrical engineering. I really enjoy his entertaining ways of conveying information. He really knows his stuff, and he's a great character. I wish him the best.

The physics teacher I wish I had, yet never had.
This was so informative, clear and witty. You are very good at explaining. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO!
Also, with regards ti current trailing voltage with 90 degrees, does this have anything to do with the fact that a capacitor used as an audio crossover delays the audio signal with 90 degrees?

Also I really liked all the extra production work that went into this one, the jail scene was funny.

That plexiglass/magnet training model is brilliant. I need to build one now.

I really love this video series! I have always been fascinated by electronics, but university has not been the right path for me. Somehow you are able to get concepts into my head better than university professors

This man's teaching skills are the perfect combination of "Indian tutor" and high quality Western education. Absolutely godlike

Wear safety goggles on your eyes instead of lifting them with your hands.
