Glad he gave props to Toni Kukoč. Euro Legends who paved the way for guys like Pau to be successful on the level they were. It wouldn't be possible without guys like Kukoč, Petrović, Divac, Schrempf, Marčiulionis ...all whom breaked the ice stepping into NBA from Europe, dealing with prejudices that European players can't ball on American (NBA) level.
I remember how Petrović was treated. One of the brightest talents and hard workers ever from Europe. It took years of bench and garbage time to finally shine in the Nets uniform after a trade from Blazers. Made All NBA team . I believe the first European to do so and would got only better if it weren't for the tragic car accident.
It's crazy to see how the NBA changed completely 30 years with European players leading the way amongst all talent with guys like Luka, Jokić, Giannis being the brightest stars.
