Comparing modern religious traditions such as men claiming capitalized titles, financing church programs through "tithes and offerings" , and faith promise giving to the Bible.

We recently left our (IFB) church because of things like this. The "pastor" literally told my husband that only the Holy Spirit speaks through him and he is the mouth piece of the Lord. Nope. Nope. Nope. We fled and haven't looked back. Praise God for your videos and teachings, brother!

Brother, this is excellent. I have felt so strongly about for many years as I had to go to PureLife ministries in Kentucky which deals with " Christian" men struggling in sexual sin. At least 90 percent of those guys were PASTORS, DEACONS, YOUTH PASTORS etc. I quickly learned they're no better than anyone else and I don't care how many degrees in theology they have. Titles are bullcrap. Keep up the great work young man. I love you brother in Jesus name.

Hi brother Moonan. God bless you and family brother in Christ Jesus. I had to leave the 30th Ave Baptist Church because the pastor preaches the lies about tithes and do alter calls. I cant seem to find God's true pastors. please pray for me brother. Im alone in my journey with Christ. Thank you for sharing the true gospel of Jesus Christ!

Hey Brian, I'm just curious about your opinion. I was into the new age/eastern religion/occult for about 10 years before getting saved about 4 years ago. I had no Christian friends/family so I was pretty much on my own (well, me and God) in terms of understanding the Bible, finding the right church etc. I went to many different churches and although I cannot say that any 1 particular denomination is the "true" denomination, I did find that the teachings of the Baptist and Calvary churches were the most in-line with Biblical Christianity of all the various denominations. So my question is: for a new Christian, what should he/she do? Do you recommend not going to church at all? What sort of fellowship should a new (or any Christian for that matter) have if that person doesn't go to church? Not trying to start an argument or anything because I definitely have issues with church, including the one's I listed, I really just want to know what you think about this matter.

Amen, great video that is much needed. What is usually called a "church" is really just people following the person who puts themselves up front. I see it all the time on elevating others to the point of following them instead of following Christ Jesus. It's of the flesh. All denominations have man's traditions mixed in and should be avoided.

Yes, tithing was food and was for the Levites. The early church in the Bible fed the poor DAILY. Now it's a Con Game, a Scam....give your money to the people who don't need your money and let the poor go hungry. Many poor and needy go without just so a so called Pastor can have more.
It's sick, twisted and disturbing!
Those who have riches in the church are commanded to help the poor brethren.
The new covenant is all about giving to the poor of the brethren and it is called ALMS.
I live in a predominantly Muslim area of the city and they know and practice Alms and put the so called church to shame.
Which is a far cry from give to the rich or give to get back which is called GREED.
Gain is NOT Godliness.

If so called church leaders are not actually working full time and sweating over preaching the word of God and following the Biblical commands of an office then why in the world are people giving them money? Plus the money is only to be given for needs, not wants.

I do agree about the titles though. It is such a widespread epidemic down here in the south, especially in the Pentecostal circles. Honestly it makes me want to vomit when I see it.
