MPs question priorities of Uganda Human Rights Commission

MPs on the Committee on Legal and Parliamentary Affairs are worried that the priorities of the Uganda Human Rights Commission in their 2025/2026 budget proposals do not focus on guaranteeing the promotion and protection of human rights. Officials of the commission were questioned about the state of human rights in Uganda and what they are doing to ensure that people's rights are not violated.
