Honestly, Laura is one of the few owners who have been on the show that actually deserved any help. She had experience in both cooking and business, she used her own money to open her business, was not rude to anyone, all her staff are honest and they like her, she listened from beginning to end without interrupting or arguing with Gordon, she had a full grasp on how bad her financial situation is, and she feels remorse when a costumer complains. She literally just needed help with the business not someone to make her a decent human being.
