ROOM STYLING TIPS • Easy & Budget Friendly ideas for your Bedroom/Halls/Flat-share/Spare Room you name it 🙌🏻💖

This our bedroom, we’ve lived in this house about 4 years now, and I’ve not done anything hardcore to it decorating wise since we moved in. So below are some of the things I’ve done that you could do too! Just easy little touches that’ll help create a nice vibe in your room!

•CURTAINS. Sheer cotton floor length curtains, soften the windows. The ones I have here are from @ikeauk and were about £13 for a pair. The rods were also Ikea and were also super cheap at about £3 each 🙌🏻WIN! if you’re renting/in halls etc and can’t drill the walls try putting up a tension pole within the window frame. You can get them from @amazon

•MAKE THE BED UP: it’s probably gna be the biggest thing in your room so make it a focal point. I’m a throw girl (I get super cold so own about 10 throws around the house lol) but you can just add one or two to the bed in different textures, maybe one patterned and one plain! *Little hack I like to pull one of the blankets all the way down to the floor so you can’t see all the storage stuff under the bed - our house is pretty small so got to use any storage space we can, but it’s a little cheat I like to use to make the room feel more zen!

•CUSHIONS: Get yourself a couple of throw cushions to go with the blankets. I’ve got 4 square ones here as I quite like the ordered look for this room, their designs are jazzy so using the square shape makes it a bit more uniform, but there are no rules - get all shapes and sizes if that’s what you want

•WALL ART: you could get one statement piece or create a little gallery wall - My hanging canvas prints match in with the rest of the colours in the furnishings so it’s all tied up together in a nice little package

•LIGHTING! I’ve made a reel about lighting in my home before, I’d always say this is one of my main things I use to create a cool vibe! 💡I’m a broken record about neons but I love them and you can get them super cheap online, I made this warm white neon flex wiggle myself for £30 (check out my blog for the tutorial - link in bio). I also bought this really cool pink palm tree filament bulb ( about £25 in Oliver Bonas) it’s sitting in a concrete base and the pink glass throws a really warm and cosy light, I don’t have any in here at the moment but I’m all for fairy lights in the bedroom too.

Hope that all helps guys!
