Lankybox used to not make content like this either. I think they switched over to this type of brainrotting content was because almost everyone's kids are watching YouTube and kids channels or content are becoming a easy money grab for people, even families with or without kids.

Most of the characters in LankyBox' shorts do not belong to them.

The purple rabbit with yellow eyes, square pupils, and light red overalls is Jax. The pale jester with the red and blue outfit is Pomni. The "Liquid cat" is Abstract Kaufmo.

Jax, Pomni and Kaufmo are all from an animated series called The Amazing Digital Circus, created by Gooseworks and produced by Glitch Productions.

Gooseworks has openly expressed discomfort about content farms, such as LankyBox, using their characters for clout. Unfortunately, there isn't much of anything you or them can do about it...

The red train with spider legs is Charles, from the indie horror game Choo Choo Charles. I unfortunately don't remember the name of game dev off the top of my head, so I'll edit it later.

The smiling, deep purple cat with the moon charm is CatNap. He is a character from Poppy Playtime by Mob Entertainment.

CatNap appears in two forms in the shorts, the first one was more accurate to how he appears in the game. The first being the character you found creepy, and the second being more normal.

In CatNap's game-acurate form, he appears malnourished, with his full ribcage and spine being almost completely visible. He has long legs and a long tail, which enphasise his skinniness.

In CatNap's stylized form, he looks like a standard attempt at modeling his cartoon design in 3D. He has stubby, plushy like proportions, and a very expressive face.

Those are all of the characters I was able to recognize in those animations. It's clear that LankyBox doesn't actually care for them, or the things they came from. They just care about how those things are popular, so they are using the characters the ride on the original creators' success.
