They didn't fire him, he left. He didn't like the way in which he was viewed always 2nd rider, amongst other things. And Mitch was a temporary replacement for Troy whilst he was out. But now Troy is back (kinda) I am unsure whether we will see Mitch next year, unless Specialized decide to keep him on the team as a third rider.
