Try put the toothpick on the middle finger nail put some pressure and pull slowly the middle finger, the second toothpick will just jump slowly even if they look very close they can’t tell what it’s happening, I use to do that and pretend I can amplify the blood pulse because the other hand you will place it on his hand wrist like you check pulse 😉
