Fun Fact: If you kill someone at a cosplay convention and hide the body, the blood on your costume would look fake and some of the other cosplayers would also have fake blood on their costume, thus making the cops have a hard time finding who killed that person. Heck if you dispose of the body properly, the cops would think it could be a kidnapping crime. If they can't find who "kidnapped" or killed them, they could close the case letting you still roam freely.
Edit: stop being mad about the problem with the smell. People would have to be very close to the blood to smell it. It also just has the smell of copper or iron and I'm pretty sure some fake bloods have metal in them so the smell wouldn't be much of a problem unless someone is weird and jumps at you to smell your clothing. The only problem with the smell is when people find out someone has been missing is the police dogs that have a sensitive sense of smell and can find drugs, weapons and blood. Overall, keeping the clothes with blood on is a safe option.
