This song was written and composed by a music legend that inspires me a lot musical Mr. Jean-Luc Ponty. When I was preparing for my concert I wanted to play one of his songs as a tribute to him (Mr. Jean-Luc Ponty) and one of the best Bassist I know who was also a big inspiration to me Mr. GUY NSANGUE then this one MOUNA BOWA came in my mind. It is a way to say thank you to them for inspiring may musicians me being one of them.

Moise I love this entire concert! I've heard all the tunes, and all I have to say is wonderful compositions, lovely and very relatable melodies, very nice codas, and fabulous musicians! Wish I was there. Blessing in balafon mode in the opening is just wow! And the composition of the nonet with 3 horns, 2 basses, 2 keys, guitar, and drums is an inspired ensemble – very uncommon, but amazingly good in this instance. Respect from NYC, London, and now Dubai! You're probably the best bassist in Africa right now, I haven't heard anyone from the mother continent play melody so well on bass since Bakhiti Khumalo played on 'Graceland, ' and after Richard Bona and Etienne Mbappe went west and north.
