I'm really looking forward to the new Mark series! I benefited from the first series a few years ago, and was sorry when that came to a halt.

As far as Not baptizing right away - I've heard the reason that this is to protect the congregation from those who want to make a show of Baptism and also to better "inform" the one wanting baptism of The Truth of the Death, Burial, Resurrection and New Life in Jesus Christ. But I agree with you Anthony Rogers - let's keep it simple. When they believe and declare - they should get baptized! And dunked! not sprinkled ;)

Reverend Anthony Rogers, would you recommend that those who haven't gone through the previous Mark series go through it before you reboot that series?

This is why I'm loving the KJV everyday more and more.

See how it renders KJV

My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.

Euler Identity Crisis spends an hour just on Mark 1:1-2 and why he inserts Malachi before the Isaiah quote. And, yes, you're right it is profound.16:25

2:31:38 - The Blessed Man….

“Then he said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” (Luke 24:44)

“The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen—“ (Deuteronomy 18:15)

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
(Joshua 1:8)

“but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.” (Psalm 1:2)

The KJV uses the term God and not Lord in James 3, when talking about the Father.

Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
James 3 : 9

Rev. @Anthony Rogers, let me play devil's advocate, regarding your statements about James not caring if you thought of Jesus or the Father as God or Lord, could a Modalist use this idea to promote their heresy? How would you rebutt this?

Are you pronouncing "coup de grace" that way on purpose (like, for a joke), or do you not know the correct/typical pronunciation? I've heard you pronounce it that way twice now, and I'm just curious.

I’ve heard that James is writing against Paul and Galatians is an answer to James’ epistle. This drives division implying that what we don’t like about James is corrected by Paul..can you speak to this at all?

So no trinitarian believes the bible that Jesus is the SON of God . Fine settle for being wrong, those that practice falsehood will not enter God's kingdom!
