What a wonderful story! My mother was Italian, my father Irish. They met on a hayride when my mom stood up to move she fell on my dad's lap! When she went home that day (she was only 14) she told my grandma that she had met the man she was going to marry someday. Five years later she did. I love that you shared your story with us and I love watching your videos!

My dears: take this from somebody with life experience. You can always teach your child your language....just speak. The child can answer in the other language, it doesn't matter. They will learn. I say this because you still plan to have a child, right? Well, you shouldn't ever speak English only, or Italien only. Each one speaks in their language, reads in their language.
