church of Sainte Catherine, Honfleur

When visiting Normandy, Honfleur must obviously be on your list! Visit the church of Saint Catherine, the largest wooden church in France with its separate bell tower. Located in Honfleur, a small port in Normandy with a postcard setting sung by Jacques Brel.
So we have included Honfleur on our list and we decided to visit the Saint Catherine. As we stepped inside the enchanting Saint Catherine Church we were lucky to experiencing a musical performance while admiring such beautiful architecture that has been classified as a historic monument since 1879. A talented musician was playing the violin, filling the sacred space with the hauntingly beautiful melodies of classical music. As the music resonates through the church's historic interior, we were captivated by the harmonious blend of architecture and artistry.
